2. Services Description

Penguin Self Publishing provides book writing, editing, publishing, and marketing services for authors and publishers. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Book writing and ghostwriting services
• eBook writing and publishing
• Book editing and proofreading
• Book cover design
• Book illustrations
• Book printing services
• Book marketing and promotion
• Author website development
• Amazon publishing services
• Article writing services
• Book trailer services

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payment Schedule

Payment terms are as follows:

• 50% deposit required upon project initiation
• Remaining balance due upon project completion
• All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced
• Additional revisions may incur additional charges

3.2 Pricing

All prices are quoted in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice. Final pricing will be confirmed in your project proposal.

4. Project Timeline and Deliverables

4.1 Project Timeline

Project timelines will be provided in your project proposal. While we strive to meet all deadlines, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates due to the creative nature of our work.

4.2 Deliverables

Deliverables will be specified in your project proposal and may include:

• Completed manuscript or content
• Edited and proofread documents
• Cover design files
• Publishing-ready files
• Marketing materials

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Client Content

You retain all rights to your original content, ideas, and materials provided to us for the project.

5.2 Our Work

Upon full payment, you will receive a license to use the work we create for you. We retain the right to use the work in our portfolio and for marketing purposes.

5.3 Copyright

You are responsible for ensuring that all content you provide does not infringe on any third-party copyrights or intellectual property rights.

6. Revisions and Changes

We include a specified number of revisions in our service packages. Additional revisions may be available for an additional fee. Major changes to project scope may require a new proposal and additional costs.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

7.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your project at any time, but please note:

• No refunds for work already completed
• Cancellation fees may apply
• All completed work must be paid for

7.2 Refunds

Refunds are only provided in exceptional circumstances and are subject to our discretion. No refunds will be given once work has commenced.

8. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding your project details and content. We will not share your information with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for our services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of California.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or technical failures.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States.
